This hands-on workshop will explore how to use native plant material to produce color and pattern. Students will learn techniques for botanical contact printing, a method of transferring the natural pigments found in leaves and plant material directly onto paper. The workshop will include information on what plants produce the best color and transfer image, and how to use this printing technique in a myriad of ways.
