Indigo mini-workshop at the Portland Japanese Garden, free with garden entry. This demo will introduce guests to shibori and indigo. Guests will have the opportunity to experiment with simple binding techniques using clothespins and then experience the magic of the dyeing process and watch patterns emerge as the cloth is exposed to oxygen.
