If you’re dreaming of a well-fitting personal statement garment, this workshop is for you! We’ll draft a muslin pattern for a simple tunic or sheath, calculate yardage requirements, and determine design placement. Then we’ll dye fabric using natural plant dyes, cut a stencil or stamp (or use a pre-made silkscreen, stencil, or stamp, if you wish), and print a unique design on our custom cloth. Finally, we’ll cut and sew our individualized garments. Students may purchase silk or linen fabric from the studio at wholesale or bring 3-5yds of their own.
